Knox County - Rockland - Best Practices for Working with LGBTQ Youth and Families While Navigating Ethical Challenges

This training, with 7 contact hours, is designed for clinicians working with youth and families over time in in-patient and outpatient settings, as well as community-based offices and private practices. It strengthens clinician capacity to work affirmatively with these clients; builds an understanding of the challenges, risks and protective factors for these young clients; and explores the ethical challenges in negotiating the youth/family dynamics. Attendees will leave with tips and resources for working more effectively with these clients and their families.

Employees of State of Maine Agencies, School Personnel or Organizations with less than $250,000 budget - $75

Free Registration is available, if needed, through limited grant funding
