OUT Maine Development and Administrative Coordinator

We are looking for a strong, administrative coordinator for our program and fundraising work. We are a dynamic and mission-committed non-profit based in Rockland that supports and empowers at-risk lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth and families throughout rural Maine. The position requires demonstrated capacity in:
Working independently while part of a team;
Managing office operations around fundraising efforts, training programs and finances (QuickBooks knowledge a plus);
Managing and organizing office supply inventory;
Coordinating community events to build visibility and support;
Owning strong writing skills for shorter pieces such as letters, FB posts, social media;
Working with volunteers and community organizations;
Handling all administrative components of trainings including coordinating, promoting, registration processing, and follow up;
Handling all donation processing and database management (knowledge of Little Green Light software a plus); and
Working collaboratively with staff and the Board of Directors to accomplish organization’s goals.
High school diploma, Associate’s degree a plus;
Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant or Development Assistant preferred;
Ability to prioritize and effectively manage shifting priorities and handle multiple projects;
Propensity for action, strong work ethic, flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to work in a team environment and independently, and under pressure successfully;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Demonstrated strong writing capacity;
Knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing documents (Microsoft Office and Google Suite), graphic design, website editing, fundraising databases, and QuickBooks a plus;
Superior organization and attention to detail skills, and exceptional follow-up capability; and

This position is full-time and is based in Rockland, Maine. Occasional weekend and evening work may be required for events and meetings. Must be able to pass background checks.
